The Georgia Guitar Quartet is a pioneering ensemble on the American chamber music and classical guitar scenes.
Borrowing from both the past and present, the GGQ draws inspiration from classical masters such as Bach and Brahms, experimentalists in the vein of Cage and Stockhausen, and contemporary rock icons like Led Zeppelin and Radiohead. The incredible range and interactive spontaneity of GGQ performances leaves audiences with something to remember, resulting in a thrilling new way to experience chamber music in the 21st century.
The Treblemakers: Barbara Weiss and Frances Demoretcky, synth melodicas with Amy Brucksch, guitar
Genre bending and blending, The Treblemakers take familiar tunes and serve them up with a twist. Take a musical journey, from Baroque to bossa nova, all without leaving your seat. What the three women of The Treblemakers have in common is their love of playing together, their curiosity about every kind of music, and their willingness to explore new sounds for their instruments which include classical guitar (with effects processor), synthesizers and melodicas!
