Tuesday Gardening Series: Devotion: Diary of an Ap
Mignon Durham, a self-taught gardener with fond memories of growing up in Winston-Salem, will talk about her book Devotion: Diary of an Appalachian Garden. Written during the pandemic, the book explores Durham’s nearly three-acre Asheville garden, which she calls “Devotion.” Durham shares relatable insights on the inspiration and soothing power of a garden. Copies of Devotion will be available for purchase after the talk but if you’d prefer to purchase it in advance, order a copy online here. Advance registration is required.

Reynolda Gardens is always free and open to the public year-round from dawn to dusk. All proceeds from the Tuesday Gardening Series goes towards preserving the Gardens’s more than 134 acres.
GMoArcade is an exciting, newer event hosted by the Greenville Museum of Art for young professionals, 21 and over, in which games of all sorts take over the Museum, inside and out! We will create a great experience, as a space to meet new friends, as a unique date night, or as simply a different way to have fun and learn new games. Expect open bar and a food truck. ID's will be checked at the door! Brandy’s Food Truck will be joining us! Parking for visitors is available along 8th St., 9th St., Washington St., Dickinson Ave., Five Points Plaza, and next door at our Education Building.
We are so excited for Santa to join us at the Greenville Museum of Art for this year’s signature winter holiday event! Attendees can expect delightful holiday-themed activities, crafts, performances, and of course, a photo opportunity with Santa in our beautiful historic building! We will also have local vendors and artists on sight selling goods for all those holiday gift shoppers, so it is sure to be a most festive occasion for all ages!.

Join us for this outdoor community event as we host a variety of regional artists and vendors as they have their goods and works available for purchasing! We will also have our Autumn Auction running virtually during this time period - the actual artworks will be on display at the GMoA for those wanting a closer look. As planned per usual, live music and a food truck will be in attendance. The interior of our facility will be available for those who wish to view out exhibitions, shop from our Gift Shop, and enjoy the natural beauty that comes with our building. If weather does not cooperate, the event will be moved indoors! Artists, vendors, visitors alike are strongly encouraged to wear facemasks if they have not been fully vaccinated. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the event, both outdoors and indoors. Entry to this event is free so come ready to shop for unique and handmade works of art and products! In this workshop, attendees will create representations of leaves using cement and a bit of imagination. All required materials will be provided. A limited number of slots are available; advance registration is required.
Join us for story time at Reynolda House! Every Reynolda Read-Aloud is a new adventure filled with stories, songs, and activities preschoolers can’t wait to dive into. Plus, this program is a wonderful way to nurture your child’s imagination and prepare them for reading.
This themed storytime series is for children 2-5 years old accompanied by an adult. Younger siblings are welcome!

Who is ready to dance, move, sing, make art? We are!
Join us for a session of outdoor, in-person learning for 3-5-year-olds and a caregiver.
To promote reading readiness and visual literacy, explore Reynolda through activities that encourage dramatic play, music, movement, and art-making, taking a work of art or item from Reynolda’s collection as a starting point. This program takes place outside on the grounds; families are encouraged to bring a blanket upon which to sit and play. Individual materials will be provided per family group and participants may walk and collect their own natural items.
