Join the NC Dance Festival as we delve into dance in this virtual program – like a book club, but for dance. Participants will watch and discuss short dance works, finding new ways to appreciate and explore the world of dance and building new connections with a wider community of dance lovers and dance professionals. Whether you have years of experience with dance or none at all, you are welcome in this group! TheGifted Arts' REACH event is uniquely designed to support school aged youth in successfully navigating their school trajectory. Attendees will receive the foundational tools to get them ‘school ready,’ while also having an engaging arts experience.
Youth will walk away feeling ready to re-enter in-person school learning environments, explore their social emotional health, build new relationships and explore the performing arts.
Summary: Attendees will receive tools that will help them to be successful this school year and participate in two energetic dance classes.
Where Were You is a collaboration between Cape Fear Regional Theatre, The Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, and Ft. Bragg that remembers and honors the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and celebrates the triumph of the American spirit through story and song. Featuring live performances from CFRT, FSO, the 82nd Airborne All American Chorus, Cumberland Choral Arts, and other exciting programing, Where Were You will bring Fayetteville together to honor this important moment in American history.

Alejandro Arroyo owns the newest (and cleanest) lounge in New York City’s Lower East Side. His sister, Molly, has a nasty habit of writing graffiti on the back wall of the local police precinct. Officer Derek is a recent NYC transplant with something to prove. Lelly Santiago is a socially awkward college student who may have discovered that the Arroyo siblings’ late mother was one of the founders of hip-hop music. Two DJs/narrators spin the story in this hilariously heartfelt piece.
