This tour will look at the Hall's outdoor fall exhibition of community artwork, Call and Response: Grief, Resiliency, and Hope, as well as inside the gallery, gift shop, and artists' dressing room - that used be a jail cell! The tour concludes inside the theatre with a solo violin performance of Greensleeves.
HERE’s annual celebration of puppets returns, this time in a digital space! Featuring puppet artists from all over the world, including Théâtre d’Illusia, Silencio Blanco, Plexus Polaire, Rasputin Marionettes, Yumiko Tanaka, and Basil Twist.
Franco-Finnish company, the Théâtre d’Illusia was born in 1997 at the initiative of Marja Nykänen, Finnish puppeteer graduated from ESNAM.
Silencio Blanco is a theater company in which we work and investigate a language of our own with paper marionettes and in silence. Silencio Blanco will present non-verbal excerpts from “Pescador.”
Artistic director of Plexus Polaire, Yngvild Aspeli, develops a visual world that brings to life our most buried feelings. The use of life-sized puppets is at the center of her work, but the play of the actor, the presence of the music, the use of light and video, are all equal elements in communicating the story.
