Mignon Durham, a self-taught gardener with fond memories of growing up in Winston-Salem, will talk about her book Devotion: Diary of an Appalachian Garden. Written during the pandemic, the book explores Durham’s nearly three-acre Asheville garden, which she calls “Devotion.” Durham shares relatable insights on the inspiration and soothing power of a garden. Copies of Devotion will be available for purchase after the talk but if you’d prefer to purchase it in advance, order a copy online here. Advance registration is required.
